In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. And this is the name by which he will be called: the lord our righteousness.

Judah and Israel lived safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan to Beer-sheba all the days of Solomon.

Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; the peoples fall under you.

Only in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites were, was there no hail.

Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob, says the Lord, nor be dismayed, O Israel; for behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return and shall be in rest and be quiet, and no one shall make him afraid.

Thus says the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel: Once again they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities when I restore their fortunes: “May the Lord bless you, O habitation of righteousness and mountain of holiness!”

Behold, I will gather them out of all countries wherever I have driven them in My anger, and in My fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely.

In those days and at that time, I will cause a righteous Branch to spring up for David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the earth.

In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: the lord our righteousness.

A ruin, a ruin, a ruin I shall make it. And it shall be no more until He comes whose right it is, and I shall give it to Him.

They shall dwell safely in it and shall build houses and plant vineyards and dwell securely when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God.

Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: Thus says the Lord God: On that day when My people of Israel dwell safely, shall you not know it?

The circumference shall be eighteen thousand cubits. And the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord Is There.

“Seventy weeks have been determined for your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

“O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day, to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to all Israel, who are near and who are far off, through all the countries wherever You have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against You.

Then will the Judahites and the Israelites be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they will come up out of the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, or by sword, or by battle, or by horses, or by horsemen.”

On that day, I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground. I will break the bow and the sword and the battle from the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.

But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and it shall be holy; and the house of Jacob shall possess those who dispossessed them.

Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s.

The remnant of Israel will do no unrighteousness, nor speak lies; nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.

I will make strong the house of Judah, and will deliver the house of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them. They will be like I had never rejected them; for I am the Lord their God, and I will respond to them.

“On that day, says the Lord of Hosts, each of you will invite your companion to come and sit under the vine and under the fig tree.”

This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all and upon all who believe, for there is no distinction.

But because of Him you are in Christ Jesus, whom God made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God on the basis of faith,
