How long will you go about, O faithless daughter? For the Lord has created a new thing in the earth: A woman shall obtain a man.

They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of Ben-hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command them, nor did it come into My heart.

but have walked after the imagination of their own heart and after the Baals, which their fathers taught them.

When the Lord first spoke by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea: “Go, take for yourself a wife of harlotry and children of harlotry, for the land has committed great harlotry, departing from the Lord.”

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced, and all the world may become accountable to God.
