Thus says the Lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart departs from the Lord.

And they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

When the Lord first spoke by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea: “Go, take for yourself a wife of harlotry and children of harlotry, for the land has committed great harlotry, departing from the Lord.”
