The cities of the Negev will be shut up, and no one will open them; all Judah will be carried away into captivity; it will be wholly carried away captive.

Then the king of Babylon struck them down and killed them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus he exiled Judah from their land.

So all Israel was registered by genealogies, and these were written in the book of the kings of Israel. And Judah was led into exile to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.

Surely, He tears down, and it cannot be built again; He imprisons a man, and there can be no release.

They will come from the cities of Judah and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the Negev, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and grain offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise to the house of the Lord.

For thus says the Lord: Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. And they will fall by the sword of their enemies while your eyes will see it. Thus I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will carry them captive into Babylon and will slay them with the sword.

The Lord showed, and behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the Lord, after Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the officials of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths from Jerusalem, and brought them to Babylon.

And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went into Babylon, says the Lord, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.”

Men will buy fields for money, sign and seal deeds, and call in witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the Negev; for I will restore their fortunes, says the Lord.

In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the Negev, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him who numbers them, says the Lord.

Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people who remained in the city, and those who fell away, who fell to him, with the rest of the people who remained.

The king of Babylon struck them and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of its own land.

These are the people whom Nebuchadnezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year, three thousand twenty-three Jews.

In the twenty-third year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred and forty-five. All the persons were four thousand six hundred.

Judah has gone into captivity, under affliction and great servitude; she dwells among the nations, she finds no rest; all her persecutors overtook her in the midst of distress.

Were these not the very words that the former prophets proclaimed when Jerusalem dwelt with ease along with her surrounding cities, and when the Negev and the Lowland were inhabited?

But it will happen, if you will not listen to the voice of the Lord your God, by being careful to do all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.

He will lay siege on you in all your towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout all your land, and he will lay siege on you in all your towns throughout all your land which the Lord your God has given you.

They shall divide it into seven portions. Judah will stay in their territory in the south, and the house of Joseph will stay in their territory in the north.
