As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead.
You hide Your face; they are troubled; You take away their breath; they die and return to their dust.
His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.
and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the life breath returns to God who gave it.
Cease regarding man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for why should he be esteemed?
And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” Having said this, He gave up the spirit.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith which works through love.
What does it profit, my brothers, if a man says he has faith but has no works? Can faith save him?
So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
But do you want to be shown, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
