When you cry out, let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind shall carry them all away, a breath shall take them away. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land and shall inherit My holy mountain.

Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What have I to do with you? Go to your father’s prophets, or to your mother’s prophets.” Then the king of Israel said to him, “No. The Lord has called these three kings to deliver them into the hand of Moab.”

They are like straw before the wind, and like chaff that a storm carries away.

The wicked are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

But the meek shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, but those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

The righteous shall inherit the land, and live in it forever.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and shepherd faithfulness.

Wait on the Lord, and keep His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will look on.

For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait on the Lord shall inherit the earth.

Before your pots can feel the heat of thorns, whether green or burning, He will sweep them away with a whirlwind!

O  Lord of Hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You.

He who is greedy stirs up strife, but he who trusts in the Lord will prosper.

They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord has founded Zion, and the poor of His people shall trust in it.

For You have been a defense to the poor, a defense to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless ones is as a storm against the wall.

Scarcely shall they be planted; scarcely shall they be sown; scarcely shall their tree take root in the earth, when He will also blow on them, and they will wither, and the whirlwind will take them away as stubble.

You shall fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and you shall rejoice in the Lord, and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you fugitives of the nations. They have no knowledge who set up the wood of their carved image, and pray to a god that cannot save.

Thus says the Lord: In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you; and I will preserve you, and give you as a covenant of the people, to restore the earth, to make them inherit the desolate lands,

even them I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.

Then all your people shall be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.

But you are those who forsake the Lord, who forget My holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who furnish the drink offering for Destiny.

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bull, and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, says the Lord.

I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of My mountains; and My chosen ones shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there.

They shall bring all your brothers out of all nations as an offering to the Lord on horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on swift beasts to My holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord, as the Israelites bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.

But where are your gods that you have made for yourself? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble; for according to the number of your cities are your gods, O Judah.

Go up to Lebanon and cry out, and lift up your voice in Bashan, and cry out from Abarim, for all your lovers are destroyed.

The wind will sweep away all your shepherds, and your lovers shall go into captivity; surely then you will be ashamed and humiliated for all your wickedness.

All your lovers have forgotten you; they do not seek you; for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, because of the multitude of your iniquities, because your sins are numerous.

For on My holy mountain, on the mountain of the height of Israel, says the Lord God, there all the house of Israel, all of them, shall serve Me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will seek your offerings and the firstfruits of your gifts with all your holy things.

Therefore they will be like the morning cloud, or like the early dew that passes away, like chaff blown off the threshing floor, or like the smoke from a chimney.

Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem will be holy, and invaders will never again pass through her.

Therefore it happened that as I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear, says the Lord of Hosts.

Go and cry out to the gods that you have chosen. Let them save you in your time of distress.”
