For the mountains may be removed, and the hills may shake, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord who has mercy on you.

Is not my house like this with God? For He made an everlasting covenant with me, ordered in all things and secure. For this is all my salvation and all my desire; will He not make it flourish?

They will perish, but You will endure; indeed, they will all wear out like a garment; like a robe You will change them, and they will pass away.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth trembles, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,

Can a woman forget her nursing child, and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget.

In a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you, says the Lord your Redeemer.

For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Incline your ear, and come to Me. Listen, so that your soul may live, and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says the Lord: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your descendants, nor out of the mouth of your descendants’ descendants, says the Lord, from this time forth and forever.

For I, the Lord, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering; and I will faithfully give them their recompense and make an everlasting covenant with them.

I will mention the steadfast love of the Lord and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has bestowed on them according to His mercy, and according to the multitude of His kindnesses.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

If those ordinances depart from before Me, says the Lord, then the seed of Israel also will cease from being a nation before Me forever.

Thus says the Lord: If you can break My covenant of the day and My covenant of the night so that there should not be day and night in their season,

So I will make My fury toward you to rest, and My jealousy shall depart from you, and I will be quiet, and will be angry no more.

I will make with them a covenant of peace and will cause the wild beasts to cease from the land so that they dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

My covenant with him was for life and peace, and I gave them to him. With awe he feared Me, and he was reverent before My name.

Therefore say, ‘Behold, I give to him My covenant of peace.

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one dot or one mark will pass from the law until all be fulfilled.

For the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of rebirth and the renewal of the Holy Spirit,

And this statement, “Yet once more,” signifies the removal of those things that can be shaken, things that are created, so that only those things that cannot be shaken will remain.

Then the heavens receded like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
