In my ears the Lord of Hosts said: Truly, many houses shall be desolate, even great and beautiful, without inhabitants.

But indeed the Lord gives a command, and He will shatter the great house to bits, and the small house to pieces.

When the king heard about it, he was angry. He sent in his army and destroyed those murderers and burned up their city.

See, your house is left to you desolate.

Behold, the wages that you kept back by fraud from the laborers who harvested your fields are crying, and the cries of those who harvested have entered into the ears of the Lord of Hosts.
