Therefore the anger of the Lord burns against His people, and He has stretched out His hand against them, and has stricken them, and the hills trembled. Their corpses were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this His anger is not turned away, and His hand is still stretched out.

So I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down. Then they shall know that I am the Lord when I put My sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he stretches it out upon the land of Egypt.

So, in all their habitations I will stretch out My hand upon them and make the land desolate, indeed, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblah. And they shall know that I am the Lord.

O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I beseech You, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain, because for our sins and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a reproach to all who are around us.

I will heal their backsliding; I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from him.

Will not the land tremble because of this, and everyone mourn who lives on it? It will all rise up like the Nile, and be tossed around, then sink like the Nile of Egypt.

The mountains will melt beneath Him, and the valleys split apart like wax before the fire, like waters deluged down a slope.

The mountains quake before Him, and the hills melt; the land rises up before Him, the earth and everything that dwells on it.

The mountains saw You and trembled; the overflowing water passed by. The deep lifted its voice, and lifted its hands on high.

I will bring distress on men, so that they will walk like blind men. Because they have sinned against the Lord, their blood will be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung.

Then My anger will burn against them on that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they will be devoured, and many disasters and troubles will befall them, so that they will say in that day, ‘Have not these disasters come upon us because our God is not among us?’

And I will surely hide My face in that day for all the evil things which they shall have done, in that they turned to other gods.

forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved. In this way they are always piling up their sins, but wrath has come upon them to the extreme.

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. From His face the earth and the heavens fled away, and no place was found for them.
