Then Pharaoh turned and went into his house, and he did not concern himself with this either.

Therefore, He has poured on him the fury of His anger and the strength of battle; and it has set him on fire all around, yet he did not recognize it; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

Sit silently, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; for you shall no more be called the queen of kingdoms.

The righteous man perishes, and no man lays it to heart; and merciful men are taken away while no one understands, for the righteous man is taken away from the evil to come.

I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace.

Would that they were wise, so that they understood this, so that they would comprehend their future!

To the extent that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, so give her torment and sorrow; for in her heart she says, ‘I sit as a queen, and am no widow, and will see no sorrow.’
