I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.

O seed of Abraham, His servant, you sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!

a heritage to Israel His servant, for His mercy endures forever.

For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. Then the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham, My friend.

You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its remotest parts, and said to you, “You are My servant; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.”

Who among you will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come?

But now, thus says the Lord who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you; you are My servant; O Israel, you shall not be forgotten by Me.

For Jacob My servant’s sake and Israel My chosen one, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me.

Listen to Me, O Jacob and Israel, whom I called: I am He; I am the First, and I am the Last.

Incline your ear, and come to Me. Listen, so that your soul may live, and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob, says the Lord, nor be dismayed, O Israel; for behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return and shall be in rest and be quiet, and no one shall make him afraid.

The lion has come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the nations is on his way. He has gone forth from his place to make your land desolate. And your cities shall be laid waste without an inhabitant.

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing!
