To his son will I give one tribe, so that My servant David will always have a light before Me in Jerusalem, the city in which I have chosen to put My name.

Nevertheless, for David’s sake, the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him and to establish Jerusalem,

I will add to your days fifteen years, and I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for My own sake and for the sake of David My servant.”

O  Lord, for the sake of Your servant and according to Your own heart You have done all these great things and made known all these great things.

Like flying birds, so the Lord of Hosts will defend Jerusalem. He will defend and deliver it; He will pass over and preserve it.

I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city.

I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.

But they shall serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

But I acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the nations among whom they were, in whose sight I made Myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake which you have profaned among the nations where you went.

The Lord of Hosts will protect them. They will devour up and subdue them with stone slingers. And they will drink and make noise as with wine; they will be filled with blood as a bowl, saturated like the corners of the altar.

who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

to the praise of the glory of His grace which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved.

however, I feared the wrath of the enemy, that their adversaries would misunderstand and say, “Our hand is victorious, and the Lord has not done all this.”
