it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord and the excellency of our God.

Then the trees of the forest will ring out before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth.

Shitrai the Sharonite was over the herds that fed in Sharon, and Shaphat the son of Adlai was over the herds that were in the valleys.

They dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in its towns, and in all the outlands of Sharon to the edge of their borders.

I am the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valleys.

Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel, and your flowing locks are like royal purple; a king is held captive by your tresses.

In the days to come Jacob shall take root; Israel shall blossom and bud and shall fill the whole world with fruit.

until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness is a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest.

The earth mourns and languishes; Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down. Sharon is like a wilderness, and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.

and the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

then the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.”

O Zion, bearer of good news, get yourself up onto a high mountain; O Jerusalem, bearer of good news, lift up your voice with strength, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold, your God!”

I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together,

Sing, O heavens! And be joyful, O earth! And break forth into singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people and will have mercy on His afflicted.

One cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of Hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory.”

The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious.

The sun shall no longer be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; but the Lord shall be an everlasting light to you and your God for your glory.

Then all your people shall be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.

to preserve those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.

Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice exceedingly with her, all you who mourn for her,

Then you shall see this, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb; and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward His servants, and His indignation toward His enemies.

I will be like the dew to Israel; he shall grow like the lily and shall strike his roots like Lebanon.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the seas.

Then Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their hearts shall rejoice as with wine. Their children shall see this and be glad; their hearts shall rejoice in the Lord.

Isaiah said this when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, that they may see My glory which You have given Me. For You loved Me before the creation of the world.

All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring good news of good things!”

He also says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The city has no need of sun or moon to shine in it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
