The wild oxen shall also fall with them, and the young bulls with the mighty bulls; so their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust become greasy with fat.

Also her mercenaries are in her midst like fat bulls, for they also have turned back and have fled away together. They did not stand their ground because the day of their calamity has come upon them, even the time of their punishment.

Because you were glad, because you rejoiced, O you destroyers of My inheritance, because you have grown fat as the heifer at the grass, and bellow as bulls,

Slay all her bulls, let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them! For their day has come, the time of their punishment.

I will also water the land with your blood, as far as the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of you.

As for you, son of man, thus says the Lord God: Speak to every kind of fowl and to every beast of the field: Assemble and come. Gather on every side to My sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh and drink blood.

You shall eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the officials of the earth as though of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

God, who brings them out of Egypt, has strength like a wild ox.

“God brings him out of Egypt; he has the horns of a wild ox; he will eat up the nations, his enemies, and will break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

His glory is like the firstborn of his bull, and his horns are like the horns of a wild ox; with them he will push the peoples together to the ends of the earth; they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
