When Judah came to the watchtower of the wilderness, they looked toward the vast army, and behold, there were dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped.

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

When I remember You upon my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches,

For who is like Me? And who will summon Me into court? And who is the shepherd that can stand before Me?

Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
