Isaiah 11:11

In that day the Lord shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, who shall be left, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

The beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Uruk, Akkad, and Kalneh in the land of Shinar.

Is not Kalno as Carchemish? Is not Hamath as Arpad? Is not Samaria as Damascus?

There shall be a highway for the remnant of His people, who will be left from Assyria, as it was for Israel when he came up from the land of Egypt.

The Lord shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the Lord in that day, and shall worship with sacrifice and offering, they shall make a vow to the Lord and perform it.

The Lord shall strike Egypt. He shall strike and heal it. Then they shall return to the Lord, and He shall be entreated by them and shall heal them.

Elam took up the quiver with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield.

Therefore glorify the Lord in the east, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.

The surviving remnant of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward.

Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, the coastlands, and the inhabitants.

Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare His praise in the islands.

He shall not be disheartened nor be discouraged, until he has set justice in the earth; and the coastlands shall wait for his law.

Thus says the Lord: The products of Egypt and merchandise of Cush and of the Sabeans—men of stature— shall come over to you, and they shall be yours; they shall come after you; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down before you. They shall make supplication to you, saying, “Surely God is with you, and there is no other; there is no other God.”

Behold, these shall come from afar; and behold, these from the north and from the west, and these from the land of Syene.

I will set a sign among them, and send from them survivors to the nations: to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud —who draw the bow—to Tubal, and Javan, to the coastlands afar off who have not heard My fame or seen My glory. And they shall declare My glory among the nations.

and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;

Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands far off, and say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.”

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, who dwell at Migdol, and Tahpanhes, and Memphis, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

Concerning Damascus: Hamath and Arpad have been humiliated, for they have heard bad news. They are faint-hearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quieted.

Of the oaks of Bashan they have made your oars; with ivory they have inlaid your deck of boxwood out of the coastlands of Cyprus.

And I will turn the fortunes of Egypt and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their origin, and there they shall be a debased kingdom.

I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in Thebes.

There is Elam and all her multitude all around her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who descended uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living and bore their shame with those who went down to the pit.

After many days you shall be called. In the latter years you shall come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered out of many peoples, against the mountains of Israel which had been always a waste. But its people were brought out of the nations, and they, all of them, are dwelling safely.

The Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God, and he carried them into the land of Shinar to the house of his god. And he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

After this he shall turn his face to the coastlands and shall capture many. But a commander shall put a stop to his reproach against him, and he shall repay him for his reproach.

I saw in the vision, and while I was looking, I was at Susa in the palace which is in the province of Elam. And I saw in the vision that I was by the canal of Ulai.

Then will the Judahites and the Israelites be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they will come up out of the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.

They will walk after the Lord, who roars like a lion. When He roars, His children will come trembling from the west.

They will come trembling like a bird out of Egypt and like a dove from the land of Assyria. And I will let them dwell in their houses, says the Lord.

In that day they will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, and from Egypt to the Euphrates River, from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.

The Lord will be dreadful to them, for He will weaken all the gods of the earth; men will worship Him, each from his place, all the lands of the nations.

He responded, “To build a house for it in the land of Shinar. And when the house is established, the basket will be set there on a pedestal.”

Thus says the Lord of Hosts: I will deliver My people from the eastern lands and from the western lands.

Also Hamath borders it, even Tyre and Sidon, cities that are very wise.

For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will remove ungodliness from Jacob”;

Nevertheless when anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.

Yet they are Your people, Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your mighty power and by Your outstretched arm.”
