“Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying: Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
“Now therefore, come make a bargain with my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses, if you are able on your part to set riders on them.
For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will bring upon Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses and with chariots, and with horsemen, and a great army.
Therefore its height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and its boughs were multiplied, and its branches became long because of the abundance of water, as it spread them out.
