I will overthrow the throne of the kingdoms. I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overthrow the chariots and their riders. The horses and their riders will come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

They were broken to pieces, nation against nation and city against city, because God confused them with every type of distress.

And in that day, declares the Lord, I will cut off your horses from among you, and I will destroy your chariots.

And in anger and wrath I will take vengeance on the nations that have not listened.

The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which when it passes through, tramples and mauls, without rescuer.

Your hand will be lifted up over your adversaries, and all your enemies will be cut off.

Nations will see and be ashamed, despite all their might; they will put their hand on their mouth, and their ears will be deaf.

Therefore wait for Me, declares the Lord, until the day when I rise up to seize the plunder; for My decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour on them My indignation, all My fierce anger; for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of My jealousy.

He will pass through the sea of distress, and will put down the waves in the sea: All the depths of the Nile will be dried up; and the arrogance of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will turn away.

And they will be as mighty men, who trample down in the muddy streets in battle. They will fight because the Lord is with them, and He will put to shame those riding on horses.

On that day I will seek to destroy all the nations who come out against Jerusalem.

Then the Lord will go out and fight those nations as He fights in the day of war.

And he said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying: Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.

I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem; and the bow for battle will be cut off. He will speak peace to the nations; and his dominion will be from one sea to another, and from the great Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places.

The seventh angel sounded, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying: “The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.”

When they blew the three hundred horns, the Lord turned every man’s sword against his fellow man throughout the camp. The Midianite camp fled to Beth-shittah in the direction of Zererah, up to the border of Abel Meholah, near Tabbath.

The watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked, and behold, the multitude melted away, and they went even here and there.
