and was transfigured before them. His face shone as the sun, and His garments became white as the light.

He alone has immortality, living in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen, nor can see. To Him be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

The city has no need of sun or moon to shine in it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Night shall be no more. They need no lamp nor the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
