Will it be told Him that I speak? If a man speaks, surely he will be swallowed up.

The Lord is in His holy temple, His throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyes examine mankind.

But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Keep silent before Me, O islands, and let the peoples renew their strength. Let them come near, then let them speak; let us come near together to judgment.

Hear, all you peoples! Listen, earth and everything in it, that the Sovereign Lord may be a witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.

Be silent before the Lord God! For the day of the Lord is at hand; the Lord has prepared the sacrifice; He has consecrated His guests.

Be still, all flesh before the Lord, for He is stirred from His holy habitation.
