Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and note it in a book, that it may serve in the time to come as a witness forever;

Moreover the Lord said to me, Take for yourself a large book and write in it with a man’s pen: “Belonging to Maher-shalal-hash-baz.”

Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.

But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his mind while on his bed. Then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.

For whatever was previously written was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

Seeing then that we have such hope, we speak with great boldness,

You must write all the words of this law very clearly on the stones.

“Now therefore write yourself this song and teach it to the Israelites. Put it on their mouths, so that this song may be a witness for Me against the Israelites.

Therefore, Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the Israelites.

Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their works follow them.”

Then he said to me, “Write: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
