Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more because God took him.

“Then he said to me, ‘The Lord, before whom I walk, will send His angel with you and prosper your way, and you will take a wife for my son from my relatives and from my father’s house.

He returned to his brothers, and said, “The boy is not there, and I, where can I go?”

Then Jacob their father said to them, “You have bereaved me of my children! Joseph is no more, Simeon is no more, and you will take Benjamin away. All these things are against me.”

Enoch walked with God after the birth of Methuselah for three hundred years and had other sons and daughters.

So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.

Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years and fathered Lamech.

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and blameless among his contemporaries. Noah walked with God.

Then when the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven by a whirlwind, Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

He said, “You have asked for a difficult thing, but if you see me when I am taken from you, it will happen to you. If not, it will not.”

As they continued walking and talking, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Elisha was watching and crying, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” And he did not see him again. Then he grabbed his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for He will receive me.    Selah

You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Thus says the Lord: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.

“In Ramah a voice was heard, grieving and weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and she would not be comforted, because they are no more.”

Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Enoch, the seventh generation from Adam, also prophesied of these men, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His holy ones,
