Joseph readied his chariot and went up to Goshen to meet Israel his father. As soon as he appeared to him, he fell on his neck and wept on his neck a long time.

But Esau ran to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.

Then he had him ride in the second chariot which was his, and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.

Joseph hurried out, for he was deeply moved over his brother and sought a place to weep. So he entered into his chamber and wept there.

“You are also commanded to say, ‘Do this: Take your wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives, and get your father and come.

He wept so loudly that the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard about it.

So the sons of Israel did so, and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provisions for the journey.

Israel said to Joseph, “Now let me die, since I have seen your face, because you are still alive.”

Both the chariots and horsemen also went up with him. It was a very great company.

So he arose and came to his father. “But while he was yet far away, his father saw him and was moved with compassion, and ran and embraced his neck and kissed him.

They all wept much and embraced Paul’s neck and kissed him,
