But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, “Behold, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.”
And he dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. The angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
Then the cupbearer and the baker for the king of Egypt, who were confined in the prison, both had a dream the same night, each man with his own dream and each dream with its own interpretation.
During that night the king could not sleep, so he ordered that the book of memorable acts (the chronicles) be brought, and they were read before the king.
But if they will not believe also these two signs or listen to your voice, then you shall take water from the river and pour it on the dry land, and the water which you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land.”
Speak, and say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lies in the midst of his rivers, which has said, “My Nile is my own, and I myself have made it.”
The land of Egypt shall become a desolation and waste. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. Because you said, “The Nile is mine, and I have made it,”
When he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent word to him, “Have nothing to do with that righteous Man, for I have suffered much today in a dream on account of Him.”
For the land which you are entering to possess is not like the land of Egypt from where you came, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot like a vegetable garden,
