When she brought them close for him to eat, he took hold of her and said, “Come, lie with me, my sister.”

They have eyes full of adultery that cannot cease from sin. They entice unstable souls. Their hearts are trained in greed. They are cursed children!

Thus you are different from other women in your harlotries in that no one follows you to commit harlotries, because you give money, and no money is given to you. Thus you are different.

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father, but is of the world.

But I say to you that whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

You have been as a wife who commits adultery, who takes strangers instead of her husband!

“I made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I look upon a young woman?

You have built yourself a high place at the head of every street, and have made your beauty to be abhorred, and have spread your legs to every passerby to multiply your harlotries.

Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain. And you had a harlot’s forehead; you refused to be ashamed.

She caught him and kissed him, and with an impudent face she said to him:

lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel,

to deliver you from the wayward woman, from the adulteress who flatters with her words,

Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity, and revive me in Your ways.

the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair and took as wives any they chose.

My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.

for the price of a prostitute leaves a man with a loaf of bread, and an adulteress preys upon his precious life.
