Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your eyes, please stay, for I have learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me on account of you.”

For you had little before I came, and it is now increased to a multitude. The Lord has blessed you since I came, and now when may I also provide for my own house?”

He said, “My Lord, if I have found favor in Your sight, do not pass by Your servant.

Now God had brought Daniel into favor and compassion with the master of the officials.

Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.”

Moses said to the Lord, “Why have You hurt Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your eyes, that You lay the burden of all this people on me?

Is this not the one from which my lord drinks and uses as he practices divination? You have done evil in doing this.’ ”

The ark of the Lord remained at the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and his entire household.
