So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him but a few days because of the love he had for her.

So Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah; and he took Rebekah and she became his wife and he loved her. So Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.

Laban said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man. Stay with me.”

So Jacob also had relations with Rachel, and he loved Rachel more than Leah and served Laban another seven years.
