You will be free from my oath, when you come to my family, if they will not give her to you; then you will be released from my oath.’

“And today I came to the well and said, ‘O Lord, God of my master Abraham, if You will now prosper the way in which I go,

If the woman is not willing to follow you, then you will be free from my oath. Only do not take my son back there.”

so that you should enter into a covenant with the Lord your God, and into His oath, which the Lord your God is making with you today.
