Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. So they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be ashamed.”

You will eat abundantly and be satisfied, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; and My people will never again be shamed.

O  Lord, the Hope of Israel, all who forsake You will be ashamed. “Those who forsake Me will be written in the dust, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters.”

Your nakedness shall be uncovered, and your shame shall be seen; I will take vengeance, and I will not meet you as a man.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in His own glory and in the glory of His Father and of the holy angels.

Then you shall remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your sisters, your elder and your younger. And I will give them to you as daughters, but not because of your covenant.

Do not fear, for you shall not be ashamed, nor be humiliated; for you shall not be put to shame, for you shall forget the shame of your youth and shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.

Let no one who waits on You be ashamed; let them be ashamed who transgress without cause.

Now when Moses saw the people were in a frenzy, for Aaron had let them get completely out of control, causing derision from their enemies,

Whoever therefore is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? They were not at all ashamed, nor could they blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them they shall be cast down, says the Lord.

Those who make a graven image are, all of them, vain, and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they do not see or know, that they may be ashamed.

Do not let me be ashamed, O  Lord, for I have called upon You; let the wicked be ashamed, and let them go silently to Sheol.
