The man gave names to all the livestock, to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him.
If any man thinks that he is behaving improperly toward his unmarried woman, and if she is past the bloom of her youth, and passions so require, let him do what he will. He does not sin. Let them marry.
Likewise, you husbands, live considerately with your wives, giving honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they too are also heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
