Genesis 17:8

All the land of Canaan, where you now live as strangers, I will give to you and to your descendants for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.”

The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” So he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

All the land that you see I will give to you and to your descendants forever.

Arise, and walk throughout the land across its length and its width, for I will give it to you.”

“I am a stranger and a foreigner among you. Give me property for a burying place among you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”

The Lord appeared to him that same night and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father. Do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for the sake of My servant Abraham.”

May He give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and your descendants with you, that you may inherit the land where you are a stranger, which God gave to Abraham.”

Jacob came back to Isaac his father in Mamre of Kiriath-arba (which is Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had sojourned.

For their possessions were too great for them to dwell together, and the land where they were foreigners could not sustain them because of their livestock.

Now Jacob lived in the land where his father was a foreigner, in the land of Canaan.

and He said to me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make you into a multitude of people and will give this land to your descendants after you for an everlasting possession.’

Is not my house like this with God? For He made an everlasting covenant with me, ordered in all things and secure. For this is all my salvation and all my desire; will He not make it flourish?

saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children,

saying, “To you will I give the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”

the covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac,

“It shall be when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, just as He swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,

then his master will bring him to the judges, then he shall also bring him to the door or to the doorpost, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him forever.

I will dwell among the Israelites and will be their God.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Yourself, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give to your descendants, and they will inherit it forever.’ ”

Then you shall anoint them just as you anointed their father, so that they may minister to Me as priests, for their anointing will surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they sojourned.

And I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

They said, “Turn now again everyone from his evil way and from the evil of your deeds, and dwell in the land that the Lord has given to you and to your fathers forever and ever.

At that time, says the Lord, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.

that they may walk in My statutes, and keep My ordinances, and do them. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

Son of man, those who inhabit these wastes in the land of Israel are saying, “Abraham was one, yet he inherited the land. But to us who are many, the land has been given for an inheritance.”

When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving to you for a possession, and I put a leprous disease in a house of the land of your possession,

This shall be a perpetual statute for you to make atonement for the Israelites for all their sins once a year. And Moses did as the Lord commanded him.

I will walk among you, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people.

And I will bring them, and they will reside in Jerusalem, and they will be for Me as a people, and I will be for them as God, with faithfulness and righteousness.

Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are setting out to the place of which the Lord said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will do good to you because the Lord has spoken good concerning Israel.”

And it will be for him and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his God and made an atonement for the Israelites.’ ”

The Lord said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the Israelites.

He gave him no inheritance in it, nor a foothold, and promised to give it to him as a possession and to his descendants after him while he had no child.

For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a peculiar people to Himself, treasured above all the nations that are on the earth.

And the Lord has affirmed today that you are His special people, just as He has promised you, and that you should keep all His commandments.

Today He will establish that you are His people and that He is your God, just as He has said to you and He has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

“Go up to this mountain of the Abarim, to Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab opposite Jericho, and look at the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites for a possession.

When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the Israelites.

The Lord said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over there.”

Because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them and personally brought you out of Egypt with His mighty power

It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you enter to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God drives them out before you, and that He may fulfill the word which the Lord swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

For this reason He is the Mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the sins that were committed under the first covenant, so that those who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

“Moses My servant is dead, so now get up and cross over the Jordan—you and all this people—to the land that I am giving to the Israelites.

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
