And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel in advance to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

and again another Scripture says, “They shall look on Him whom they have pierced.”

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.”

Has the Scripture not said that the Christ comes from the seed of David, out of the town of Bethlehem where David was?”

Until I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ’

For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth.”

What shall we say then? The Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith,

Now the promises were made to Abraham and his Seed. He does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “and to your Seed,” meaning one, who is Christ.

But the Scripture has confined all things under sin, that the promise through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman.”

For the gospel was preached to us as well as to them. But the word preached did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith in those who heard it.

The seventh angel sounded, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying: “The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.”
