Now it is evident that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, for “The just shall live by faith.”

But we all are as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness is as filthy rags; and we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Behold, his soul is lifted up; it is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faithfulness.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

yet we know that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ. Even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, rather than by the works of the law. For by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him.”

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

We all stumble in many ways. But if any man does not stumble in what he says, he is a complete man and able also to control the whole body.

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
