When the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’  ”

“Then He said to me, ‘Depart, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’  ”

What then? Are we better than they? No, not at all. For we have already charged that both Jews and Gentiles are all under sin.

Therefore the promise comes through faith, so that it might be by grace, that the promise would be certain to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

If, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found to be sinners, is Christ therefore the minister of sin? God forbid!

among them we all also once lived in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and we were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

though I also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has reason to trust in the flesh, I have more:

We also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various desires and pleasures, living in evil and envy, filled with hatred and hating each other.

And the Lord sent you on a journey, and said, ‘Go and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are destroyed.’
