But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, why do you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?”

I went up in response to a revelation and communicated to them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles. But privately I communicated to those who were of reputation, in case I might be running, or had run, in vain.

We did not yield to subjection to them, not for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

On the contrary, they saw that I was entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, as the gospel to the circumcised was to Peter.

For the entire law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

You have been cut off from Christ, whoever of you are justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

To this He called you by our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The grace of our Lord overflowed with the faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, continue to remain at Ephesus so that you might command some to teach no other teaching,

who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not by our works, but by His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

So you, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

But as He who has called you is holy, so be holy in all your conduct,

His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and excellence,

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
