In what I am writing to you, before God, I do not lie!

I am speaking the truth in Christ, I am not lying; my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit,

Moreover I call God as a witness upon my soul, that it is to spare you that I have not yet gone to Corinth.

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forevermore, knows that I am not lying.
