Ezra 3:1

When the seventh month had come, the Israelites had resettled in their cities, and the people gathered themselves together, as one man, to Jerusalem.

What the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drachmas of gold, two thousand silver minas, and sixty-seven priests’ garments.

So the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, some of the people, the temple servants, and all Israel lived in their cities. When the seventh month came, the Israelites were in their cities.

All the people gathered together as one man in the area in front of the Water Gate, and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded to Israel.

They found written in the Law where the Lord had commanded by Moses that the Israelites should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month,

This shall be a perpetual statute for you so that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble yourselves, and do no work of any kind, whether it is the native citizen or the stranger who sojourns among you.

Speak to the Israelites, saying: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorial with the blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

For then I will restore to the peoples a pure speech that all of them may call on the name of the Lord, to serve Him with one accord.

And continuing daily with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

All the believers were of one heart and one soul, and no one said that what he possessed was his own. But to them all things were in common.

Now I ask you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak in agreement and that there be no divisions among you. But be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Three times a year all your males must appear before the Lord your God in the place where He will choose: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles, and they must not appear before the Lord empty.

All the Israelites from Dan to Beer-sheba, and also from the land of Gilead, went out and gathered together in an assembly as one man before the Lord at Mizpah.
