Then the angel of the Lord commanded Gad to tell David that David should go up and raise an altar to the Lord on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
So Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where He appeared to David his father, at the place that David established on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
They gave after their ability to the treasure of the work sixty-one thousand drachmas of gold, five thousand pounds of silver, and a hundred priestly garments.
