Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and speak against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

After my words they did not speak again, and my speech settled on them like dew.

Through your servants you have reproached the Lord and have said, ‘With my many chariots I have come up to the heights of the mountains, to the remotest parts of Lebanon; and I cut down its tall cedars, and its choice fir trees; and I will go to its highest peak, its thickest forest.

Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, son of man!”

Son of man, set your face toward the south, preach against the south, and prophesy against the forest land in the Negev.

Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites and prophesy against them,

Son of man, set your face toward Sidon and prophesy against her

As for you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say: O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord.

Son of man, set your face against Gog of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

Moreover take for yourself an iron plate and set it up for a wall of iron between you and the city. And set your face against it so that it is besieged, and lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and your arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.

Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

Now therefore hear the word of the Lord: You say, ‘Do not prophesy against Israel, and do not preach against the house of Isaac.’

If a man, going about vapidly and deceitfully, lies, “I will preach for you wine and beer,” he would be just the preacher for this people.

“Do not prophesy,” they say. “One should not prophesy about these things. Disgrace will not overtake us.”

Pray for me, that the power to speak may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

My teaching will drop like the rain, my sayings will distill as the dew, as the droplets on the grass, and as the showers on the herb.
