“Therefore say to the Israelites: ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.

Rather, the Lord, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm, Him you shall fear, to Him you shall bow down, and to Him you shall sacrifice.

Who is like Your people Israel, a nation on earth whom God has redeemed for Himself as a people to make for Yourself a great name by great and awesome deeds in driving out nations from before Your people whom You redeemed from Egypt?

“Now these are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power and by Your strong hand.

The waters saw You, O God; the waters saw You, they were afraid; the depths also trembled.

“But My people would not listen to My voice; Israel would not submit to Me.

“I removed his shoulder from the burden; his hands were freed from the basket.

You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah.   Selah

Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their labor. They built for Pharaoh storage cities: Pithom and Rameses.

And at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, on the very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

And that same day the Lord brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.

“It shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ that you shall say to him, ‘With a strong hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage.

It shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets on your forehead, for with a strong hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.”

Moses said to the people, “Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage, for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place. Nothing leavened shall be eaten.

“In Your mercy You have led the people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them by Your strength to Your holy dwelling.

So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, “At evening, you shall know that the Lord has brought you out from the land of Egypt.

Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel His people, and that the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.

In those days, when Moses was grown, he went out to his brothers and looked on their burdens; and he saw an Egyptian striking a Hebrew, one of his brothers.

Therefore, I said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’

Therefore, I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

But Moses sought the favor of the Lord his God, and said, “Lord, why does Your wrath burn against Your people, whom You have brought forth from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Then God spoke to Moses, and said to him, “I am the Lord,

the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “I am the Lord. Speak to Pharaoh the king of Egypt all that I say to you.”

I will bring you into the land, which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and I will give it to you for an inheritance. I am the Lord.’ ”

Nevertheless, Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that I may lay My hand upon Egypt and bring forth My armies and My people, the Israelites, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord when I stretch forth My hand upon Egypt and bring out the Israelites from among them.”

The Arameans shall be before and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open jaws. For all this His anger is not turned away, and His hand is stretched out still.

Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, nor shall He have mercy on their fatherless and widows; for every one of them is a hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this His anger is not turned away, and His hand is stretched out still.

Manasseh consumes Ephraim, and Ephraim, Manasseh, and they together shall be against Judah. For all this His anger is not turned away, and His hand is stretched out still.

I Myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.

I have made the earth, the men, and the beasts which are on the ground by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it to whom it seemed good to Me.

And You have brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror.

As I live, says the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with fury poured out, I will rule over you.

The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt, and with great power He led them out of it.

Know this day that I am not speaking with your children who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of the Lord your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm,

You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you. Therefore, I command this to you today.

And the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with great terror, and with signs and wonders.

Watch yourselves, so that you do not forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which He made with you, and make yourself a graven image or the likeness of anything as the Lord your God has forbidden you.

Or has God ever tried to take for Himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

Remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

then beware lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

the great trials which your eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by which the Lord your God brought you out. So the Lord your God will do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

But it is because the Lord loved you and because He kept the oath which He swore to your fathers. The Lord brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.

Yet they are Your people, Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your mighty power and by Your outstretched arm.”
