Who among all the gods of the lands have delivered their land out of my hand, that the Lord should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?”

Who from among all the gods of these nations that my fathers utterly destroyed was able to rescue his people from my hand? For will your god be able to rescue you all from my hand?

You enacted signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his servants, and against all the people of his land because You knew how arrogantly they had acted against them. Thus, You made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.

For he stretches out his hand against God, and strengthens himself against the Almighty.

He rushes upon Him, even on His neck, with his thick embossed shield.

Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?’

They will do these things to you, because they have not known the Father nor Me.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not proper.

in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

That entire generation passed away, and after them grew up a generation who did not know the Lord or the deeds that He had done for Israel.

Now the sons of Eli were corrupt. They did not know the Lord.

And Nabal answered David’s servants, and said, “Who is David? And who is the son of Jesse? Today many servants are breaking away each one from his master.
