Also, we obligate ourselves to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, to the house of the Lord;
Speak to the Israelites, and say to them: When you have come into the land that I am giving to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf bundle of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.
You shall eat neither bread nor grain, parched or fresh, until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God. It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
The first ripe fruit of all which is in their land, which they will bring to the Lord, will be yours. Everyone who is clean in your house will eat of it.
You must not eat of anything that dies of itself, but you may give it to the foreigner that is in your gates, so that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner, for you are a holy people to the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.
And behold, now I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which You, O Lord, have given me.” Then you shall set it before the Lord your God and worship before the Lord your God.
that you shall take from the first of all the produce of the ground which you shall bring from your land that the Lord your God is giving you, and put it in a basket and go to the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide.
