“I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and when you go, you will not go empty-handed.

Now the Israelites did according to the word of Moses, and they requested of the Egyptians articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing.

And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.

When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who appointed him ruler over Egypt and all his house.

When you send him out free from you, you must not let him go away empty-handed.
