Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

You shall make a screen for the doorway of the tent of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of an embroiderer.

You shall put them into one basket and bring them in the basket with the bull and the two rams.

Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

Then he set up the curtain at the entrance of the tabernacle.

Whenever they went into the tent of meeting, and whenever they came near the altar, they washed, just as the Lord commanded Moses.

Then I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean. From all your filthiness and from all your idols, I will cleanse you.

When the priests enter it, then they shall not go out of the holy place into the outer court, but there they shall lay their garments in which they minister, for they are holy. And they shall put on other garments, and shall approach those things which are for the people.”

He that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, so that he may be clean. After that he shall come into the camp and shall stay outside of his tent seven days.

You will bring the Levites before the tent of meeting. And you will gather the whole assembly of the Israelites together.

that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

And it must be that when evening comes, he must wash himself with water, and at sunset he may re-enter the camp.

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of rebirth and the renewal of the Holy Spirit,

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse them from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Figuratively this is like baptism, which also saves us now. It is not washing off the dirt from the body, but a response to God from a good conscience through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
