Exodus 28:43

They shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they come into the tent of meeting or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they may not bear iniquity and die. It shall be a perpetual statute to him and his descendants after him.

In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall arrange it from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a perpetual statute for the Israelites for generations to come.

So they must wash their hands and their feet, so that they will not die. And it will be a perpetual statute for them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.

It shall come to pass that when they enter at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments. And no wool shall come upon them while they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.

And he shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is over the testimony, so that he does not die.

They shall no more offer their sacrifices to goat demons, after whom they have acted like whores. This shall be a perpetual statute for them throughout their generations.

They shall not defile the holy things of the Israelites, which they offer to the Lord,

They shall therefore keep My ordinance, lest they bear sin from it and therefore die if they defile it: I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

As a continual statute for your generations in all your settlements, you shall not eat any fat or any blood.

When a person sins in hearing the spoken oath, and he is a witness, whether he saw or knew about the incident, if he does not report it, he bears guilt.

If a person sins unintentionally and does any one of the things that by commandments of the Lord should not be done and he is found guilty, he shall bear his iniquity.

One ordinance will be for you of the assembly and for the foreigner who lives with you, an ordinance forever throughout your generations. As you are, so will the foreigner be before the Lord.

Hereafter, the Israelites shall not come near the tent of meeting, lest they bear sin and die.

You will bear no sin because of it, when you have offered the best of it. The holy things of the Israelites you will not pollute, and you will not die.

The Lord spoke to Aaron: Behold, I have given you charge of the offerings made to Me, all the sanctified gifts of the Israelites. To you and to your sons have I given them as a portion, as an ordinance forever.

But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, even the same person will be cut off from his people. Because he did not bring the offering of the Lord at its appointed time, that man will bear his sin.
