Exodus 23:7

Keep far away from a false charge, and do not kill the innocent and the righteous, for I will not justify the wicked.

Then Abraham drew near and said, “Shall You also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; you will put away iniquity far from your tents.

Remove from me the way of lying, and graciously teach me Your law.

They band together against the life of the righteous and condemn innocent blood.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

You must not give a false report. Do not join your hand with the wicked to be a malicious witness.

keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

Be assured, the wicked will not go unpunished, but the sons of the righteous will be delivered.

He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the just, both are abominations to the Lord.

He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, he who rejects unjust gain and shakes his hands from holding bribes, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil:

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who exchange darkness for light, and light for darkness; who exchange bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.

You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, nor shall you stand by while the life of your neighbor is in danger: I am the Lord.

the Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and the Lord will in no way acquit the guilty. In gale winds and a storm is His way, and clouds are the dust of His feet.

Then the soldiers likewise demanded of him, “And what must we do?” He said to them, “Do no violence to anyone nor accuse any falsely, and be content with your wages.”

The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth through unrighteousness.

Therefore, putting away lying, let every man speak truthfully with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

If there is a controversy between men, they are to go to court for judgment, so that the judges may judge them. Then they shall justify the righteous and condemn the wicked.

“Cursed is he who receives pay to slay an innocent person.” And all the people shall say, “Amen.”

Abstain from all appearances of evil.
