Thus the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore.

So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and gave them rest on every side.

He saved them from the hand of him who hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, that He might make His mighty power known.

The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

For He said, “Surely they are My people, sons who will not lie.” So He became their Savior.

In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His mercy He redeemed them; and He lifted them and carried them all the days of old.

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, or by sword, or by battle, or by horses, or by horsemen.”

Or has God ever tried to take for Himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

Now I want to remind you, though you already know, that the Lord saved the people out of the land of Egypt and afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

The Lord said to the Israelites, “Did I not deliver you from Egypt , the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

Saul said, “There will not be a man put to death this day, for today the Lord has worked deliverance in Israel.”

So the Lord saved Israel that day, and the battle passed beyond Beth-aven.
