Then the Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Sukkoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children.

They took their journey from Sukkoth and camped in Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.

These are those who were numbered of the Israelites by the house of their fathers. All those who were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

These were the counted of the Israelites: six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.

They set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the Passover the Israelites went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,

The Israelites set out from Rameses and camped in Sukkoth.
