that you shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s Passover, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt, when He smote the Egyptians, and delivered our households.’ ” And the people bowed down and worshipped.
At midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon and all the firstborn of livestock.
So I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he shall pursue them. And I will be honored because of Pharaoh and because of all his army, so that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord. And they did so.
So Bezalel and Oholiab, and every skilled person, in whom the Lord has put skill and understanding to know how to do all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, are to do the work according to all that the Lord has commanded.
Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished, and the Israelites did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses—so they did.
So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh, and they did what the Lord had commanded. And Aaron threw down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they brought outside the camp him who had cursed, and stoned him. And the Israelites did as the Lord commanded Moses.
From the half of the Israelites Moses took one out of fifty, of man and of beast, and gave them to the Levites, who kept the guard of the tabernacle of the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Now Joshua, the son of Nun, was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. And the Israelites listened to him and did as the Lord commanded Moses.
Then the Israelites did as Joshua commanded and picked up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, one for each of the tribes of the Israelites, as the Lord had spoken to Joshua. They crossed over with them to the settlement and set them there.
