Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Draw out and take for yourselves a lamb according to your families and kill the Passover lamb.

The king commanded all the people, “Keep the Passover to the Lord your God as it is written in this Book of the Covenant.”

Because the priests and the Levites had purified themselves together, all of them were pure. So, they slaughtered the Passover lambs for all the descendants of the captivity, both for their brothers the priests and for themselves.

In this way shall you eat it: with your waist girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting, that they may take a stand there with you.

and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock was Christ.

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest the one who destroys the firstborn touch them.

The Israelites camped in Gilgal and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening on the plains of Jericho.
